The Special Olympics
The Special Olymipics have been around since 1968. This is a nonprofit organization with 220 offices globally. The Special Olympics are held all over the planet. Before competing, athletes are to say the oath, which is as follows: “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
This oath is inspiring and gives athletes the courage to at least try. After all, the only way you can truly fail is if you never at least try.
