If you haven’t yet joined in the Love Drop program, now is a perfect time to do so. Every month, Love Drop sponsors a new family with a goal in mind—to raise money for healthcare costs, or finding a new home for a family who suffered a housing loss. Each month, not only do they typically make their goal through sponsorships from generous businesses and citizens like you and me; they also add in a bunch of surprises and other help for the families, such as gift certificates for spa treatments or food vouchers.

Last month, the Stalnaker family was able to get a Mustang convertible from the generous support of so many people. A woman who was hit with a car and is now in a wheelchair was able to receive $5,000 worth of appliances catered to her new ability levels as well. This month, Love Drop is encouraging us to show these new babies just how loving and supportive this world is, and they are inviting us all to take part—whether that involves spreading the word, making donations, or asking businesses for sponsorships. Parents Jeff and Becca would surely appreciate the help.

The babies are currently in the neonatal ICU, but they are healthy and will be home soon—making the family’s need more urgent. The Love Drop team is hoping to raise $3,000 in cash, as well as gifts, to provide the family with.

Here’s how you can help:

• Donate baby stuff. Everyone loves to shop for babies! From food to diapers, clothing to formula, anything and everything would be welcome. If you have connections with a baby service (maybe diapers or a store?), see if you can use them or generate donations.
• Give just $1. If 3,000 people do this, that’s the goal met! If you have more to give, of course, please be as generous as you can. Love Drop sometimes raises more than they set out to, and if we could do that this month it would simply be amazing.
• Send in a gift card, which is just as helpful. Some suggestions include WalMart, Target, restaurants, and other local stores.
• Spread the word. Share this article or your own post on Facebook, Twitter, and your website, and invite all friends and family to take part.
